TRANSFAGARASAN

The Transfagarasan (DN7C) is among the most spectacular roads in the world, convoluted and cutting through the Fagaras Mountains. It's 92km (50miles) long and it's a challenge to navigate, therefore it's closed during winter, spring and part of autumn.

This asphalt road reaches as high as 2042m altitude and offers an amazing view of the natural reservation Golul Alpin Fagaras.

Capra River
Capra tunnel - electrified and with natural ventilation, the tunnel measures 887m (3000ft)
Balea Waterfall

The speed limit is 40km/h (25miles/h)
